Keep your home looking good

every 15 days, clean your leather armchairs and sofas from (do not rub) with a damp cloth calcareous water. This operation eliminates dust. Every six months, performed a thorough cleaning of the leather. It uses a shampoo for the scalp, followed by a special cream to moisturize and protect permit.

Spot clean

If a stain occurs, immediately cover it with a paper towel, without rubbing, proceeding always from the outside toward the center to prevent the stain from spreading.
There are good traditional methods:

* Clean with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
* Rub with a cloth soaked in beer.
* Rub an orange peel.
* Rub with a cloth dipped in whipped egg white until stiff (for hides clear)

Renew

Special products leather renovation work well. Apply the product with a non-absorbent cloth. Making penetrate rubbing with a circular motion. Allow to dry and polish with a soft cloth.
The leather may darken but regained its original color in a few days.

Other methods of renewal of leather.

Sprinkle talcum powder on a clean flannel cloth and leather. Mix turpentine and beeswax (in the proportions two thirds / one third) and apply this mixture with an absorbent cloth not letting penetrate leather. Allow to dry and polish with a cloth. Rub the scalp gently with a cloth dampened in water mixed with white vinegar. Once dry, impregnating the leather with lanolin oil with a cotton swab. Wait 24 hours. Polish with a cloth.

Important

* Do not expose the chairs to direct sunlight to prevent fading
* The heat can make you break the surface of the leather, so it is advisable to keep the furniture with leather upholstery away from direct sources of heat such as radiators, fireplaces and stoves.
* Never use a product without trying it before in an unseen chair.
